Description
The most beautiful place I have seen is a small mountain lake in Teton National Park. To get to Lake Solitude, you have to walk several miles around Jenny Lake, hike up about 1000 vertical feet of switchback trails, hike another 4 or 5 miles through the rocky valley under the Grand Teton Mountain itself, take a right and climb another valley until you reach the tree line, come over the lip of a basin... and there lies Lake Solitude! Here, it is partially snow covered, even in July! I managed to take a break from chasing a chunky marmot around with my camera to snap this shot!
