One winter, after enduring a nasty train crash in Southern France, I found myself visiting friends in Czech Republic spending several weeks searching out castles. After visiting a particularly classic looking castle in the little town of Karlstejn, I spied this unassuming bench made of stone, peeking out from the hillside.
