Grand Canyon or Bust Canvas Print

I still stay in touch with my oldest childhood friend. In fact, his name is also John. We tend to lose our sanity when it comes to road trips and anything involving camping/hiking/climbing/general shenanigans/etc. One summer, in our long tradition of doing crazy things, we drove from southwest Missouri to the Grand Canyon in a day. We stopped for a 3 hour roadside nap close to our destination, and then proceeded to endure a hike deep into and back out of the canyon. At the end of day two, we had driven over 1200 miles, hiked 8 miles, climbed nearly 4000 vertical feet, and slept only 3 hours. All of that equaled one heck of a good sleep! And we now know that we can hike the Grand Canyon in a three day weekend... good times.
