Artist's Description
The moon rises over the backcountry of Arches National Park. My friend and I spent the previous afternoon trying to hike through the desert without stepping on the delicate crust (living organisms similar to coral reef). We finally found a good stopping point with enough sand to pitch the tents and enough clear rock to run around and explore the nearby canyons and rivers. We were treated to full moon that lit up the night!
