Not long ago, I was lucky to have an opportunity to spend some time in Tunisia. I was able to visit Roman and Punic ruins throughout the country, especially in the ancient city of Carthage. These tombstones were some of the only Punic ruins that were spared when Romans leveled the city in the Punic Wars.
